For 29 years the La Crescenta Woman’s Club has held its holiday Breakfast with Santa. For the price of a ticket, the community could come to the Clubhouse to have lunch, kids got a chance to see and talk to Santa and everyone enjoyed music from the Crescenta Valley High School Charismatics. This year, due to the pandemic, Breakfast had to be reinvented.
On Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the LCWC will host “Blessing the Holidays with Santa Drive-Through.” It will be a drive-through event that will give children and their families a chance to see Santa and Mrs. Claus while staying in their vehicle. Guests must wear masks and stay in their vehicles the entire time. Attendees should enter the parking lot off La Crescenta Avenue from the south [lower] driveway entrance traveling north through the parking lot.
For the safety of all, LCWC members are asking for all cars to enter by traveling north on La Crescenta Avenue and not south, preventing the need to turn left and cross northbound traffic lanes.
At the event children can drop off their letters and wish lists to Santa. The letter can be torn out, filled out and dropped off the day of the event. Santa’s wish list can be found at www.lacrescentawomansclub.org/events/santa.
LCWC is located at 4004 La Crescenta Ave. For more information call (818) 658-1104 or email info@lacrescentawomansclub.org. There is no charge for this event but donations are appreciated.
