ALG member Linelle Vincenti presented a check for $2,000 to Fremont Elementary School Principal Vickie Atikian Aviles. Fremont was one of four schools that ALG supported with the Authors and Illustrators program.
Local elementary school Fremont, which boasts a student body of 642, was the recent recipient of $2,000 by the Assistance League of Glendale (ALG). The funds will be used to support the school’s library. The donation was made as part of the ALG Authors and Illustrators program. Presenting via Zoom were authors Frans Vischer, Tim Egan, Joe Cepeda and Julie Berry.
