Students from Palm Crest School in La Cañada Flintridge were honored recently as “Terrific Kids” by the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada at the weekly meeting of the club held at Descanso Gardens. The sixth grade “Terrific Kids” were accompanied by their parents.

Recipient Sophia Bates enjoys playing the viola in the junior high school band. Dylan Kalantar is identified as a “great speller” and Abigail Fredrick loves to ride horses and plays the flute. John Paul Caire, a Spartan baseball and basketball player, serves as an altar server at his church and likes to build his own toys with Lego logs. Kate Scoville is a member of the school council and is a Girl Scout.
