The Crescenta Valley Adventist School shared the meaning of Christmas by singing carols and passing out gift bags on Monday, Dec. 14 at the Eagle Rock Adventist Church. The Eagle Rock Adventist Church has a soup kitchen every Monday when members reach out to the homeless in the community. This is the third year that CVAS took part in the soup kitchen.

The school’s families donated money to buy supplies for the gift bags. A blanket, mittens, scarves and beanies were among the items in the bags. There were smiles from the people who received the bags and the students who handed them out.
