The Prom Plus Club and Crescenta Valley High School Jazz Band combined efforts to support Prom Plus on Saturday, Dec. 10 hosting a swing dance at the La Crescenta Woman’s Club.

The success of the event was in part due to the dedication and contributions of the La Crescenta Woman’s Club, LCWC Juniors, dance teachers Molly Shelton and Dwight Sityar, and safety attendant Harry Leon. For those less inclined to cut a rug (or just tired from doing so), puzzles were put on tables to keep guests occupied. Desserts and snacks were provided by local parents.

Of course, the event could not have taken place without the presence of the CVHS jazz band – the CV Instrumental Music Dept., musicians, parents and music director Mathew Schick – for filling the night with music and dance. Thanks too are extended to Bonners Party Rentals for providing linens in the Falcon colors.
