Suspect Sought for Series of Burglaries
Glendale police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who is suspected of committing several burglaries at a home for the elderly in Glendale.
On the morning of Dec. 10, the suspect entered the Casa de la Paloma Housing for Elders at 133 S. Kenwood St. after a resident opened the rear door of the facility. He then entered several unlocked residence doors and burglarized the rooms, removing wallets and a purse. He removed their contents and dumped the wallets in a stairwell before exiting through the main entrance.
The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 50-60 years of age, 5’ 7” to 5’ 9” and 180-200 lbs. He has salt and pepper hair with a receding hairline and a mustache. The Glendale Police Department is actively seeking this suspect.
