Jan. 5

4500 block of La Granada Way in La Cañada Flintridge, a lawn mower, trimmer and leaf blower were stolen from the front yard of a home while a gardener was working at 8:15 a.m.

Jan. 4

3000 block of Evelyn Street in La Crescenta, the front passenger window was smashed and a global positioning system was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Jan. 3

900 block of Wiladonda Drive in La Cañada an amplifier, a skateboard and electric and acoustic guitars were stolen from a home between Dec. 29 and Jan. 3.

Jan. 1

4800 block of Rosemont Avenue in La Crescenta, four tires were punctured on one vehicle, two tires on another vehicle and one tire on another that were all parked in the resident’s driveway.  The incident occurred overnight.

4300 block of Pennsylvania Drive in La Crescenta, the front passenger side window was shattered and the center console containing a radio, CD player and a global positioning system were stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Dec. 30

600 Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a 28-year-old man now faces a felony charge for allegedly stealing one can of STP gas treatment from Vons market at 8:41 p.m.

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a 37-year-old La Cañada man was arrested for taking a bottle of beer from the Vons market without attempting to pay.  A witness reported seeing the man allegedly in the beer aisle of the store.  He took one bottle of beer from the display and put it in his pants pocket.  He then selected a six-pack of another type of beer, of the approximate same value, and walked to the cashier and paid.  He then walked out of the store without paying for the bottle in his pocket. He allegedly told deputies he had forgotten he had the beer in his pocket.
