Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau continue its investigation into the murder of a young woman whose body was found on Angeles Crest Highway on Dec. 24.
A hiker discovered the body of a 21-year-old woman identified by the LA County Coroner as Raylynn Josephine-Deanne Hernandez.
“[Her body] was found just off the road dumped over the edge of a nearby pull-out,” said Lt. Corina.
She died of multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen something to contact them at (323) 890-5500 and ask for Det. Shepherd.
Corina said even if someone saw something small and they don’t think it is significant, the information might be of use to detectives.
