The Montrose Shopping Park Association welcomed two new members to their fold in the last month, Joselito’s owner Corey Grijalva and Copy Network owner Andre Ordubegian. The two were officially voted onto the board of directors during the MSPA’s December meeting replacing departing Alyce Russell of Andersen’s Pet Shop and Maureen Palacios of Once Upon a Time.

The new directors come aboard amidst changes involving the MSPA and the Harvest and Thieves markets. Recently changes were made to the popular Sunday markets which increased the number of vendors for the Harvest Market with “more of an emphasis on food,” said Farmer’s Market Manager Mark Sheridan.

According to Sheridan, the changes also come as a result of an interest in expanding vendor membership.

The situation created friction with some vendors of the Thieves Market, who were concerned that the Thieves Market would be replaced or eliminated altogether. Neither Grijalva nor Ordubegian were available to comment on their roles on the association board or what part they might play in possible future changes for the Harvest Market.
