4400 block of Hobbs Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, several items were stolen from a vehicle overnight.
Jan. 9
600 block of Berkshire Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, a mountain bike that was left leaning against a resident’s garage was stolen overnight.
Jan. 7
4300 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, while a man was sitting in a vehicle outside his home he witnessed a woman, later identified as a former girlfriend, walk up to his personal vehicle that was parked in his carport and begin dragging an object across several areas of the body of the vehicle creating scratches. He approached the woman and she fled the area.
The vandalism occurred at 9:30 p.m.
Jan. 3
4600 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, a woman reported receiving a phone call from her bank notifying her that there had been a transaction with her credit card at a local gas station. She had not given anyone permission to use her card. She went to her vehicle where she had left her credit card and found it was not there.
Deputies were called but no pry marks or point-of-entry was found on the vehicle. There were five more unauthorized charges on her card between 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 3 and 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 4.
Jan. 5
5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident heard her car alarm activate and found the driver’s side door lock had been punched and someone had entered the vehicle. Several items were taken from a purse that had been left in the vehicle.
The theft occurred at 1:45 p.m.
Dec. 30
2300 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a man received a message from his bank that funds had been transferred from his business account to his personal account. He had not given anyone authorization to go into his account. He found there had been a total of three fraudulent transactions. He was first notified by his bank on Dec. 30 at 10:30 a.m.

4800 block of Glenwood Avenue in La Crescenta, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between Dec. 27 and Dec. 29.
Dec. 2
2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a package was stolen from a business at 2:04 p.m.
Nov. 26, 2020
4300 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, when a man who receives unemployment checked his Employment Development Department [EDD] debit card account he noticed someone had viewed it by “unknown means.” He discovered money was stolen from his account. He contacted the EDD to report the fraud and was told he would be contacted within two weeks.
EDD never contacted him so he reported it to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept./Crescenta Valley Station.
The fraud occurred at on Nov. 26 at 9:58 p.m.
