The Glendale Fire Department has officially launched a free mobile application through Mobile Programming, offering the community a new and interactive way to engage with the department anytime and anywhere.
The user-friendly platform provides easy access to information at the tip of a finger. The mobile app features the new GFD logo, allows customers to request station visits, provides a channel for customer feedback, access to the department’s social media platforms, calendar reminders for critical items such as replacing fire alarm batteries, and incident specific information.
“We are excited about the opportunities our own GFD app will bring. This is another example of how the City of Glendale is looking for creative ways to keep the community informed and engaged with local government,” stated GFD Chief Fish.
The free mobile app is available for download in the iTunes Store and Google Play by searching “Glendale Fire Department.” For more information on the mobile app, visit www.glendalefire.org.
