GPD Asks for Public’s Help

The Glendale Police Dept. is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a robbery suspect.

On Sunday, Jan. 3 at approximately 10:55 p.m., the male suspect is captured on video climbing over the retaining wall between Barragan’s Mexican Restaurant, located at 814 S. Central in Glendale, and the office building next door.

The suspect entered the rear kitchen door of the restaurant and forcefully pushed two employees through the kitchen while holding a handgun.  A third employee entered and observed the suspect and fellow employees. The employee fled through the restaurant and exited the back door while being chased by the suspect.

The suspect is last seen leaving through the rear parking lot of the restaurant.

There were no injuries to the victims and no loss to the business.

The suspect is described as a male, unknown race, possibly 5’10, 200 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black and white colored facemask and carrying a black handgun.
