Gas Leak Detected

Updated 12:15 p.m.: SoCal Gas is sending out crews to investigate an apparent gas leak in the 3500 block of Rosemary in the 91208 area, according to Melissa Bailey, SoCal Gas spokesperson.
The company said it appears that a third party hit the gas line. Bailey said she is unaware of any service interruption in the area or the need for evacuations.
SoCal gas reminds homeowners and contractors to call 811 before digging or visit 811.com for more information.
Bailey said she will keep CV Weekly informed with any new information.

Update: SoCal Gas is investigating the leak.

Earlier today GPD received a call regarding a gas leak in the 3500 block of Rosemary Avenue, said Dan Bell of the City of Glendale. The fire dept was called and did find a damaged gas line. It appears that a plumber hit a gas line. There is no danger to residents; no evacuation planned.
