Still looking for hit and run driver

The Glendale Police continue to ask for the public’s help in identifying the hit and run driver that struck and killed Montrose resident Joo Lee and at 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 1.
Lee was struck while he was crossing the street in the 3000 block of Montrose Avenue.
A driver had stopped to allow Lee to cross Montrose Avenue. Another vehicle described as a dark SUV drove around the stopped car at a high rate of speed and hit Lee. He was thrown about 70 feet, said Sgt. Dennis Smith.
Police have placed an electronic billboard requesting information on the accident and have handed out informational flyers to motorists who were driving on Montrose Avenue near the area where Lee was hit.
