The Live Well Senior program at Glendale Adventist Medical Center (GAMC) helps the senior population and/or their caregivers navigate the hospital system and enjoy easy access to health care information and resources available in the community. The free program offers a variety of member benefits that include monthly luncheons featuring a physician speaker, medication consultations with a pharmacist or discounts on preventative screenings that address a variety of healthcare needs.

“Educating seniors and their families about the aging process is one of the most important things we can do to help bring high-value, cost conscious health to Americans, especially in light of healthcare reform,” said Denise Miller, MBA, OT/L, director of the Live Well Program at GAMC. “Further, it’s an honor to work with seniors and their families to provide a continuity of care and to be someone familiar to them as they navigate the hospital system and community resources.”
