Attempted Shoplifting at TJ’s

By Mary O’KEEFE

At about 3 p.m. today, Thursday, two suspects entered Trader Joe’s market in Montrose and attempted to take merchandise out of the store without attempting to pay.

The two male suspects, described as white in their 20s, ran out of the store, dropping the items they were attempting to steal, and got into a waiting white Jeep Cherokee.

The driver, another white male in his 20s, made a hazardous U-turn in front of the store on Honolulu Avenue and sped off.
