Thousands of people gathered in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday for the Women’s March LA. According to the Women’s March LA Foundation, the goal of the march was to announce the collective vision that, by using the power of the vote, a government can be created that supports and represents the intersecting identities and the social justice and human rights issues that impact all.

“Last year, we were angry and shocked. This year, we are joyous and obviously massive. And we know exactly what we’re up against and how much organizing we need to do,” said one marcher from Glendale.
