Glendale Unified School District has just announced an offer of employment to a new superintendent after months of searching. The below statement from GUSD was sent to CVWeekly.
After an extensive search and interview process, the Board unanimously approved extending an offer of employment to Winfred Roberson, Jr. to serve as the next superintendent of Glendale Unified School District.
Board President Christine Walters said, “The Board is very excited about the opportunity for Winfred to bring his leadership and experience to GUSD. We believe that his vision and passion for public education will allow us to continue our tradition of excellence and to continue our work of preparing our students for their future. We intend to bring a contract for approval by the Board to its February 16 meeting.”
