The rain is predicted to hit the Crescenta Valley area about 10 a.m. on Tuesday and continue into Wednesday morning.
“There is a 20% chance of light rain after midnight [Monday] night,” said Stuart Seto, weather specialist with the National Weather Service.
He added that steady showers, light to moderate, are expected to drop about half an inch to an inch-and-a-half and to hit the area more toward mid-morning on Tuesday into Wednesday.
The area will also see some winds out of the east at 10 to 20 miles per hour. The winds will change direction on Wednesday, blowing from the north and with 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph.
