The community is responding to the death of a Crescenta Valley High School male student who fell from the roof top of the school this afternoon.

The Fire House youth center is being opened for kids to gather tonight at 5:30 p.m. The Fire House is located at 2563 Foothilll Blvd., La Crescenta (at the corner of Foothill Boulevard).

At St. James the Less Catholic Church, a prayer service is being held tonight, Friday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 4651 Dunsmore Ave. in La Crescenta.

The community is invited to join in prayer for this student, their family and the community.
