Feb. 8
2800 block of Mary Street in La Crescenta, a duffel bag and personal items were stolen from an unlocked garage between Feb. 6 and Feb. 8.
Feb. 7
2900 block of Mary Street in La Crescenta, a person’s identity information was stolen from the trunk of an unlocked vehicle. The surveillance video revealed the suspect as a white male, in his 30s and between 5’8” and 5’10” tall. At the time of the burglary he was wearing a light long sleeved shirt, gloves and a light colored knit cap. The burglary occurred at 5:28 a.m.

2700 block of Franklin Street in La Crescenta, glasses and other personal items were stolen from two unlocked vehicles overnight.
Feb. 6
2800 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, several bottles of medication, cigarettes, jewelry and other items were stolen from a vehicle. The owner thought she had locked the driver’s side door before leaving the vehicle; there was no sign of forced entry. There was damage discovered on the car’s ignition.
The burglary occurred between 11 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 3:51 p.m. on Feb. 7.

2800 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, personal items were stolen from a vehicle and the interior had been ransacked. The owner remembers locking the vehicle; there was no sign of forced entry. The burglary occurred overnight.

600 block of Berkshire Avenue in La Cañada, a 35-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana, being in possession of identification other than his own and having two outstanding warrants in his name. The man allegedly told the deputy that he was given the debit card (not in his name) by his partner to “flag the mailbox.” When asked what he meant by that term, he reportedly told the deputy flagging a mailbox meant he attempted to take mail from it to give to his partner to get more information on the cardholder.
The arrest occurred at 2:48 a.m.
Feb. 5
Angeles Crest Highway in the Angeles National Forest, a cellphone, sunglasses, reading glasses, a utility knife and several other personal items were stolen and the rear passenger window was shattered on a locked vehicle overnight.
Feb. 2
3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a carton of cigarettes was stolen from a store at 9:54 p.m.
