Several La Crescenta residents headed north to Simi Valley on Wednesday to pay final respects to former First Lady Nancy Reagan who passed away on Sunday at the age of 94.

The ladies shared stories of writing to Nancy and receiving handwritten letters back, book signings and library visits. According to Erickson, “The lines to wait for the buses to take [folks] into the library were long but well worth the visit.”
