At about 11:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada received a bomb threat. Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station worked with school officials to determine the validity of the threat.

The students were evacuated and were in a safe location, according to a Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station spokesman.

After an extensive search for an explosive device/devices by deputies and school officials no devices were located.

Parents and loved ones were encouraged to get the latest updates from Flintridge Preparatory School. A phone message should have been sent from the school’s emergency notification system.
