Reading Night at VV

Valley View Elementary School held its annual reading night on March 2 to celebrate Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Students and families were treated to a pancake and sausage dinner, sponsored by the Valley View Foundation. Reading night followed and readers, such as Principal Dr. Brook Reynolds, school librarian Maribel Sibulo and guest reader Lisa Larsen, dazzled the students’ imaginations with wonderful stories.

Following reading night, parents were invited to browse through Miss Nelson’s Book Fair and purchase books for their children and the school. A portion of the sales of the books was donated to the school by the PTA, which also sponsored the book fair.
