March 16

3100 block of Evelyn Street in La Crescenta, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between 12:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.

 

 

March 15

800 block of Green Lane in La Cañada, a woman returned home to find a glass door broken, several rooms ransacked and jewelry and other items stolen between 1:12 p.m. and 1:48 p.m.

1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a wallet, iPhone, clothing and vehicle keys were stolen from a locker between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

 

 

March 12

2100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, an employee reported a man, described as Hispanic, 5’10” tall, 180 pounds with short black hair who at the time was wearing a dark short sleeve shirt with a white stripe on the sleeve, dark jeans and had tattoos on his right arm and side of neck, man entered the store, took a duffle bag and a backpack and began placing several items from the shelves and from displays. He walked toward the exit and out of the store. He got into a vehicle driven by a female, described as Hispanic in her early 30s with a medium build, and the couple drove away. 

The theft occurred between 4:15 p.m. and 5:07 p.m.

 

 

March 5

900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman reported her wallet stolen from her purse while she was shopping at a store. Surveillance footage showed a female, described as Asian wearing a black and white baseball-type cap, black jacket, dark tight pants and white shoes, approaching the victim and, according to the victim, asked for help reaching something on a high shelf. The victim placed her purse in the shopping cart and, while the victim was helping the woman, another woman, described as wearing a dark blue hat, dark jacket, dark tight pants and white shoes, reached into the victim’s purse and took the wallet and walked out of the store. The woman then was seen on surveillance footage about an hour after the theft using the victim’s credit cards to purchase items at the store.

The initial theft occurred at 11:54 a.m.

Trail Canyon Falls/Big Tujunga Canyon, Angeles National Forest, a woman locked her vehicle and left the location. When she returned she found the windows of the vehicle were down and the doors unlocked. She also discovered her purse and sunglasses had been stolen.

The theft occurred between 11:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.

200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the rear driver’s side window was shattered and personal information was stolen from a vehicle between 6:40 p.m. and 9:05 p.m.

500 Meadow Grove Street in La Cañada, a woman arrived at the home to find a second floor light on. She knew the day before she had locked all doors and turned off the lights. It was discovered the protective gate covering the rear guest bedroom had been removed and the window leading into the home was open. She found the upstairs bedroom closet had been ransacked. At the time of the report there was nothing reported stolen.

The incident occurred overnight.

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada, an iPad, camera with case, cellphone, tablet and other electronics were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 11:35 a.m. and 11:55 a.m.
