Brookhill Street in La Crescenta, several items were missing from a vehicle overnight.
2300 block of Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, a woman reported that someone entered the Airbnb she and her friends rented and ransacked and stole several items. She stated she only had a digital code to enter the home.
The incident occurred overnight.
March 14
4100 Dover Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident was inside her home when she heard the doorknob jiggle on the front door. She did not think anything suspicious at the time and did not investigate. Later her landlord showed her security footage of two unknown male adults entering the property and removing the security camera from the wall. The resident realized the two suspects had been at her door. There was no sign of tampering or of anything missing.
The incident occurred at 3:23 p.m.
March 13
3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a driver reported that he parked and locked his vehicle at a gas pump at the Shell gas station. He then entered the station. Shortly after, an unknown male entered the Shell station and asked if anyone owned the driver’s vehicle. The driver went out and saw the rear left passenger side window had been smashed and a duffle bag was stolen. A witness reported that he saw an unknown person inside the rear seat of the victim’s car. He did not think anything suspicious at the time until he saw Suspect 1 jump out of the vehicle, fall on the ground and jump into a black Volkswagen Crossover with tinted windows and a black license plate cover. Suspect 1 was described as a Black male adult wearing a N95 mask, black hooded jacket and green camouflage pants. The witness reported seeing two additional Black male adults in the VW vehicle.
The theft occurred at 5:35 p.m.
4300 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, the glass door to a master bedroom was smashed and several rooms were ransacked; nothing was reported missing at the time.
The incident was reported at 8 p.m.
