5600 block of Pinecone Road in La Crescenta, a resident returned home to find several rooms in his house had been ransacked and a glass door had been shattered. Due to the extent of the ransacked rooms the resident was unable to yet determine if anything was missing.
The residential burglary occurred between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
April 14
900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, while a woman was shopping in the bedding aisle at the location a male adult approached her and asked a question about bedding. She told the man she did not work at the store and directed him to ask a clerk. The woman had placed her purse on the floor as she looked at an item on the lower shelf. Upon picking the purse back up she noticed it was lighter and realized her wallet was missing. The victim then began receiving screen shots of text messages from her daughter that indicated a number of purchases that had been made on her credit cards that she did not make. The theft occurred at 1 p.m.
3000 block of Evelyn Street in La Crescenta, a resident reported a vehicle stolen. Surveillance footage revealed a newer white four-door vehicle parked parallel to the victim’s vehicle. An unknown male exited the passenger side rear door and opened the victim’s vehicle driver’s door. It took about two minutes to start the victim’s vehicle.
The stolen vehicle and suspect’s vehicle drove away from the location at 3:32 a.m.

300 block of Santa Inez Way in La Cañada Flintridge, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle overnight.
April 12
5100 block of Redwillow Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles at the location overnight.
400 block of Oliveta Place in La Cañada Flintridge, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle overnight.
2600 block of Pinelawn Drive in La Crescenta, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between April 12 and April 14.
