3000 block of Community Avenue in Montrose, a purse and its contents were stolen and the passenger side window was smashed overnight.
April 20
800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, an employee placed a bag of money for deposit in a drawer as she does every night. She then activated the alarm and left the office. The next day the money was gone and someone had disarmed the alarm overnight.
April 19
600 block of Foxwood Road in La Cañada, the second story glass balcony door was smashed and rooms had been ransacked at a home between 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
600 block of Chatham Place in La Cañada, jewelry was stolen, several rooms were ransacked and the sliding glass door of a residence was shattered between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
4700 block of Gould Avenue in La Cañada, a room was ransacked and a sliding glass door was shattered between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
April 18
4500 block of Raymond Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported that a person/persons pulled the wiring from within the electronic key card lock that is used for the lock of his door. The electronic lock had not worked for a while. The attempted burglary occurred overnight.
