4900 block of El Sereno in La Crescenta, a purse was stolen and the front passenger window was smashed on a vehicle while it was parked in front of a home overnight.

April 23
4700 block of Hayman Avenue in La Cañada, the front driver’s window was smashed and nothing was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at home between 6 p.m and 7:45 p.m.

2200 block Waltonia Drive in Montrose, a La Verne man was arrested for assaulting a peace officer and being drunk in public. Deputies allegedly witnessed the man staggering down the street at 5:40 p.m.

2300 block of Florencita Avenue in Montrose, two vehicles were vandalized by someone causing circular chips on the vehicles’ windshield overnight.

April 22
3000 block of Alabama Street in La Crescenta, a digital camera and CD player was stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.

April 21
5100 Crown Avenue in La Cañada, deputies responded to a call originally concerning a possible domestic dispute.  What they allegedly discovered was a 19-year-old La Cañada man and a woman in a verbal confrontation in a vehicle. After an investigation the man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic.

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a laptop computer, credit cards and computer bag were stolen and the left rear passenger window was shattered on a vehicle between 12:52 p.m. and 2:09 p.m.
