April 30

4300 block Shepherds Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident reported that while she was taking a bath two suspects entered her residence and pointed a handgun at her. Suspect No. 1 was described as a young Black male adult wearing a grey sweater and red sweatpants. Suspect No. 2 was described as a young Black male adult wearing a black sweater and black pants.

The resident stated she was only a guest at the residence and did not know where anything was located. Suspect No. 1 continued to point the handgun at the victim’s head while Suspect No. 2 rummaged through the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom. Suspect No. 1 asked the victim where “the safe” was and demanded she get out of the bathtub. She complied. Suspect No. 1 then guided the victim through the adjacent bedroom and closet while ordering her to show them where the valuables were. Suspect No. 1 ordered the victim to open drawers while they searched for miscellaneous valuables. Throughout the incident the victim stated she believed she heard an unknown male’s voice over a speakerphone asking the suspects for updates.

Suspect No. 1 ordered the victim to go back into the bathroom and sit down. He grabbed the victim’s cellphone and walked out of the bathroom. The victim heard the suspects arguing about whether or not to give her back the phone before leaving the location. The suspects then left the residence; the victim located her phone that had been left behind and called law enforcement.

The robbery/residential burglary occurred at 4:05 p.m.

1300 block of Salisbury Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

April 28

Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.14 in Angeles National Forest, a woman parked her vehicle, placed her purse and other items in the trunk, locked the door and left the area. When she returned she discovered the trunk was open and her purse and other items were missing.

The theft occurred between 2 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

April 27

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a man reported parking his vehicle on the top level of the parking lot at the location and began his work shift. When he returned to his vehicle he found several music instruments and other items missing. He reported that he had believed he left his vehicle unlocked.

The thefts occurred between 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

April 25

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a woman reported that while she was shopping at a local store she placed her purse on the top section of her shopping cart. When she later reached into her purse to get her wallet she realized it was missing.

The theft occurred between 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
