A roof collapsed at a construction site in Glendale on Wednesday. According to reports from KTLA, there were six workers who were rescued by Glendale firefighters in the 1200 block of Glendale Avenue.
A metal roof truss of a movie studio under construction collapsed for an unknown reason. Three workers were reportedly trapped in a lift about 40 feet in the air. Three others were on the ground when the collapse occurred and were stuck under rubble. As of 1:20 p.m. four out of six workers had been rescued, but two were still trapped.
CVW made several attempts to contact Glendale Fire Dept. but as of press time there had been no response.
