On Tuesday afternoon, a young male deer was hit by a vehicle near the front of Rosemont Middle School. The deer collapsed on the ground near the parking lot. School staff Susan Stefun and Karen Bomar responded as did concerned students.
Boy Scouts Matthew Bomar and Matthew Ynez knelt down with the deer to help keep him calm. The deer’s back legs seemed to be paralyzed.
Animal Control responded. The condition of the deer was not known as of press time.
