A body has been found on Angeles Crest Highway at mile marker 27.Crescenta Valley Sheriffs recieved a call at 5:30 a.m. concerning the discovery.

California Highway Patrol has closed the Angeles Crest Highway southbound at mile marker 27.45 and 27.65, at the Crest and Angeles National Forest. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Big Tujunga. The northbound lanes will remain open however CHP advises drivers to take Big Tujunga north off Foothill Boulevard to the Angeles National Forest.

The investigation is ongoing.
