Glendale police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred on Monday in the 5100 block of Boston Avenue around 11 a.m.

A witness observed a gray Volkswagen Tiguan SUV parked in front of the home. The witness reported seeing two males, both wearing hooded sweaters, exit the vehicle and walk toward the house and out of view. A driver who was wearing a mask stayed in the VW SUV. As the witness got closer to the driver, the suspect honked the SUV’s horn and the two men that had walked toward the home jumped over the fence from the backyard, got into the house, ran and got into the SUV. The vehicle then fled the area. There was a delay in contacting the GPD and as they arrived the suspects were out of the area, according to Sgt. Christian Hauptmann.

No entry had been made into the involved home. The suspects were described as Hispanic or Armenian males in their mid-20s. Anyone with information is asked to contact GPD at (818) 548-4911.
