Oakwood Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a 24-year-old La Cañada man was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated marijuana after a routine traffic stop. After an investigation, it was discovered the man was in possession of an electronic cigarette containing a yellow liquid resembling concentrated marijuana. He was arrested at 1:36 a.m.

2900 block of Alabama Street in La Crescenta, the driver’s door window was smashed on a vehicle overnight.

May 15
Foothill Boulevard and Briggs Avenue in La Crescenta, a 50-year-old La Crescenta man was cited for driving with a suspended license at 10:02 a.m.

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee at Orchard Supply Hardware reported witnessing a man run out of the store’s north exit carrying several items he did not pay for. After reviewing the surveillance video, it was discovered the suspect was shopping in the store with a cart. He went into the paint aisle, concrete area and clothing section of the store. He grabbed a black concrete tub, filled it with store items and covered it with several shirts.
The suspect was described as about 30 years old, heavyset, with brown hair and the bottom part of a goatee. At the time he was wearing a black hat, gray or tan shorts and a black shirt with a white logo. The shirt had a white crown on the right shoulder and what appeared to be an “N” on the back. The incident occurred at 2:42 p.m.

3000 block of Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, a vehicle’s roof was damaged as it was parked on the street in front of the location between 12:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

2700 block of Stevens Street in La Crescenta, several pieces of jewelry were stolen and a sliding glass door was shattered at a home between 9 a.m. and noon.
