Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station has a new captain. It was announced today, Wednesday, that Todd Deeds will fill the position of captain at the station.
The position was previously held by former Captain Chris Blasnek, who was recently promoted to commander and transferred to oversee the South Patrol Division. Blasnek served as captain from April 2, 2017 to mid-January when he was promoted. Since his transfer Lt. Mark Slater served as interim captain.
Deeds is currently assigned to East Los Angeles Station. He will begin his duties at the CV Station on Sunday.
