Angeles Crest Highway mile marker 57.10 in La Cañada Flintridge, the front passenger side window was smashed, the side panel cracked and doorframe dented and personal items were stolen from a vehicle overnight.


May 18
1300 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a black duffle bag was found in the middle of the street in front of the La Cañada Flintridge City Hall. Clothes were found in the bag however no identification was found at 9:45 p.m.


May 17
2600 block of Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, a car stereo and MP3 player were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

Raymond Avenue and Alabama Street in La Crescenta, a laptop computer and brief case were stolen and the rear window was smashed on a vehicle overnight.

2700 block of Mayfield Avenue in La Crescenta, someone damaged a security sign in the yard of a home overnight.

900 Green Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, golf clubs and a bag were stolen from a resident’s garage after it was accidently left open by the homeowner overnight.

3100 block of Brookhill Street in La Crescenta, the front driver’s side window was shattered and the front bumper was dented on a vehicle overnight.


May 16
2600 block of Mary Street in Montrose, a camera, wallet and jewelry were stolen and the front driver’s side window was smashed overnight.

2300 block of Florencita Avenue in Montrose, the mirrors on the driver’s and passenger sides of a vehicle that was parked in a driveway were damaged between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m.

2600 block of Mayfield Avenue in La Crescenta, someone scratched letters onto the front driver’s side door of the passenger side and the rear window was smashed on a vehicle overnight.

4500 block of Vinetta Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, a deputy patrolling the area of Hampton Avenue noticed a 2010 white Chrysler Sebring driving slowly down the middle of the street. The vehicle would stop abruptly then continue. The deputy conducted a traffic stop to see if the driver needed assistance. He immediately recognized the Tujunga man, 33, as a named forgery suspect that had been on a wanted flier the deputy had seen during a briefing.
After an investigation, credit cards were found in the man’s possession that did not belong to him. The incident occurred overnight.

2000 Ahlin Drive in La Cañada, a laptop computer, iPod and two Apple phones were stolen from an unlocked home between 1:15 p.m. and 4 p.m.


May 15
4300 Briggs Avenue in La Crescenta, several tools were stolen from a home under construction between May 11-15.

4900 block of Del Monte Road in La Cañada, a man reported he had been contacted by his bank that checks had been written on his account without his permission. The checks were written between May 3-10.


May 14
1500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a gas pump’s card reader was damaged at the 76 Station at 10:29 p.m.

3000 Harmony Place in La Crescenta, a resident reported that she had been notified that someone was using her credit card at a restaurant out of the area without her permission. She discovered that at least five pieces of mail had been stolen from her home on May 8.


May 12
5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada, a La Cañada Flintridge Country Club employee reported that she had placed her cellphone near the cash register in the garden room and left. She returned shortly and discovered her cellphone was gone, between 11:20 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.


May 11
4400 Rockland Place in Montrose, the driver’s side window was shattered on a vehicle overnight.

2800 block of Prospect Avenue in La Crescenta, someone stole a pair of jeans from a shopping bag that was placed in a locked vehicle overnight.
