Crescenta Valley high School principal Michele Doll announced via Phone Ed on Friday that she will be leaving her position at the end of the school year in June. She is filling the position of director of Human Resources for the Glendale Unified School District.
“Michele has done a great job at CV and this is a great advancement in her career,” said Superintendent Dick Sheehen. Doll has been at Crescenta Valley High School for three years in the role of principal.
The search for a new principal begins immediately. The search will be conducted within and outside the district for a replacement and the district wants a new principal in place by July 1, Sheehan said.
“There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, May 29, in the CVHS library to get input from the community,” Sheehan said. This is similar to the process used in the past by the district. Those who wish to share their opinion on the qualifications for a new principal should attend Wednesday’s meeting at 6 p.m. The school is located at 2900 Community Ave., La Crescenta.
