400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, the front window of a business was smashed and a cash register was stolen overnight.
400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a business owner reported that his business had been burglarized. Surveillance footage revealed the legs of two people walking back and forth in front of the business. A male/suspect adult wearing all black used an unknown tool to smash the front entrance glass door. The suspect entered the business and stole the cash register. He then exited the location but came back and entered the business and looked around where the cash register had been. The suspect then walked out of the business and out of sight. It should be noted that the neighboring business was burglarized on the same night.
The burglary occurred at 2:58 a.m.
May 24
500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, an employee reported that as he was preparing to close a man entered the store. He was described as a Black male, about 18 years old wearing a black T-shirt and white jeans. He entered the store and walked directly to the liquor aisle. The employee reportedly witnessed the man/suspect pick up a box containing cans of vodka. He walked to the cashier’s line and asked where he could pay for the liquor. The employee directed him to the correct area and took the box of vodka to scan it. The suspect approached the employee from behind and forcibly attempted to grab the box. There was a bit of a scuffle and the employee released the box concerned he would be injured.
The suspect ran out of the store with the box of vodka; however, due to the struggle between the employee and the suspect the box had been ripped and the vodka cans fell to the ground as the suspect attempted to leave. The suspect fled the store, without the liquor, and got into a waiting white sedan. There were two other suspects in the car: a driver, described as a male wearing a black T-shirt and white jeans, about 18 years old, and another person in the vehicle – no description was given.
The theft occurred at 12:40 a.m.

500 block of Princess Anne Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a woman reported that she received a notice from her Ring camera that her front door was open and the electric garage door was halfway open. She contacted the CV Sheriff’s Station and waited outside her home until the sheriff deputies arrived.
Deputies searched but found no suspects. Surveillance footage revealed three male suspects who made entry through the back French doors of the property. Suspect No. 1 was described as a male adult wearing a grey tracksuit, black T-shirt, blue facemask and a black cap. Suspect No. 2 was described as a male adult, wearing black pants, grey hoodie and blue facemask. Suspect No. 3 was described as a male adult wearing all black, a blue facemask and black hat.
Suspect No. 2 broke the glass to the rear French doors. All three suspects entered the residence through those doors. About a minute after the suspects entered the residence the alarm was activated. Once that occurred the suspects were seen inside the garage yelling at one another and then ran toward the victim’s garage door and exited the area. Before leaving the suspects ransacked two bedrooms; however, nothing was reported stolen.
The burglary occurred at 12:35 p.m.
May 23
700 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a burglary report at the location. The victim stated that he had left the rear window of the business slightly open from the kitchen but when he returned he saw the window was wide open and the screen was missing. The cash register, coin box and safe were all missing.
The surveillance footage revealed a male wearing a hoodie with the hood fastened around his face with a black mask, sweatpants and gloves. The suspect waked from the kitchen area to the front counter carrying a “pickax.” The suspect started to swing at the bolted down safe and eventually was able to pry the safe from underneath the shelf. The suspect then grabbed the coin box from underneath the shelf and tore the cash register from the shelf drawer. He then walked out of view.
The burglary occurred between 3:35 a.m. and 3:37 a.m.
