From the City of Glendale:
“The City of Glendale issued a citywide curfew beginning on June 1 at 5 p.m. through June 2 at 6 a.m. This curfew is for the city of Glendale ONLY.
The city of Glendale sent out a message intended for the Glendale community; however, the wireless emergency alert system was distributed countywide. We are working with our emergency alert system provider to perform an analysis and to determine what caused this to occur.
All Glendale residents [were] directed to stay home during the designated curfew hours, except for emergency responders and health care providers, those seeking urgent medical care, those traveling to and from work, and those who are unsheltered. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take proactive measures to protect our community from the devastation taking place in neighboring cities.“
