On Tuesday at 5:23 a.m., Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station received notification of an alarm activation at Taco Deli in the 400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge.
Deputies arrived within seven minutes of receiving the call and found the window of the front door of the business smashed with an unknown object. They saw two other businesses in the same shopping center that also had their front windows/doors smashed, according to Lt. Mark Slater.
All three businesses were checked and cleared of any suspects. The owner of Taco Deli reported cash was missing from the store’s register.
It was unknown at the time whether the other two businesses were missing anything.
The investigation is ongoing.
