Eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway onramp at La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, a 44-year-old Baldwin Park man was arrested on suspicion of a controlled substance, possibly methamphetamine, at 5 p.m.
June 6
2200 block of Florencita Avenue in Montrose, someone vandalized a vehicle with some type of chemical that could possibly be paint remover. The chemical affected the entire body of the vehicle overnight.
June 5
Foothill Boulevard and Indianola Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, a 43-year-old South Gate man and a 38-year-old Fontana man were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances and unlawful possession of ammunition. Sheriffs conducted a routine traffic stop and found the driver, the Fontana man, was on parole for domestic violence and had an outstanding warrant in his name. The passenger, the South Gate man, was also on parole for possession of a controlled substance and he too had an outstanding warrant. After an investigation, it was discovered the two were in possession of several illegal items. They were arrested at 3:18 p.m.
2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee from Game Stop reported receiving a phone call from a person who identified himself as being a Game Stop employee from another store. He requested several items including two Google Nexus tablets and two handheld Nintendos. This is common, according to the employee, for other stores to transfer merchandise. He was told an employee would be by to pick up the merchandise. The man that arrived was wearing a Game Stop identification badge indicating he was from a store in Duarte. The employee handed the items over to the man who left the location. He then received a call from the Duarte manager who told him he did not order the transfer.

June 4
3100 Prospect Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident heard his vehicle alarm sounding off and went out to the front of his residence. He discovered the front driver’s side window of his vehicle smashed and the interior of his car ransacked. It didn’t appear anything was stolen. The incident occurred at
4:30 a.m.
4300 block of Commonwealth Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, the driver’s side window was broken out and a global surveillance system was stolen from a vehicle between 1 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
5800 block of Freeman Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident left his home in the afternoon and when he returned discovered the bottom left side of his residence’s front door had been cracked and was lying inside the house. The door was closed and locked. He immediately contacted CV Sheriffs who discovered two laptop computers had been stolen and a bedroom had been ransacked. The residential burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
