The Crescenta Valley Town Council meeting tonight at 7 p.m. will cover several issues important to the area including a potential elimination of Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) bus route 91.
Metro will be suggesting changes, which include a bus line on Honolulu Avenue. Excepted is a northbound route right turn off Ocean View Boulevard onto Honolulu Avenue. This turn has proven dangerous according to Metro investigations.
Representatives from the City of Glendale and Metro will attend the town council meeting. The CVTC is asking for the public to attend as well to share their opinion on the proposed change.
Los Angeles Parks and Recreation will also be at the meeting to make a presentation on the proposed use of the Verdugo Wash as a walk/bike trail. An update is expected concerning the CV skate park project.
The CVTC meeting is held in the community room of the La Crescenta Library, 2809 Foothill Blvd. at 7 p.m.
