The burned body of a man found in La Tuna Canyon has yet to be identified. The man’s body was discovered on La Tuna Canyon Road near the trail entrance just south of the Foothill (210) freeway by the Los Angeles City Fire Department after they responded to a call concerning a fire. The LA Police Department Foothill Station Homicide, LACFD Arson and LA County Coroner’s office is investigating.
THURSDAY 6:45 a.m.
Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a fire in La Tuna Canyon and discovered the body of a man.
The fire department responded to a fire at 2:50 this morning about a mile south of the Foothill (210) freeway exit on La Tuna Canyon Road, said Sgt. Reid, LAPD Foothill Station.
Fire crews discovered the body on the side of the road.
“We don’t have a cause of death,” Reid said. “LA City Fire Arson and [LAPD] Foothill Homicide [unit] are on scene,” he said.
