600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, an employee reported that a male adult, about 40 years old, 5’’8” tall and weighing about 160 lbs., entered the front entrance of the store. The suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and a black baseball cap. The suspect went to the men’s shoe section, took a plastic bag from his pocket and placed two pairs of shoes in the bag. He then took another pair of shoes and placed them in the waistband of his shorts under his shirt. He also took a pair of white sandals and placed them in the bag. He walked out of the store to a waiting silver Buick vehicle, got into the passenger seat and the vehicle drove away from the location at 5:25 p.m.

June 17

5600 block of Angeles Crest Highway in La Cañada Flintridge, a witness reported hearing a vehicle drive down the street; this was odd because it is a private street and there is not a lot of traffic. The witness looked out the window of her home to see a black Honda Accord parked across from her home. She witnessed four adult males exit the car and climb over the fence of her neighbor’s property. She then saw them bring unknown items over the fence. They then began walking toward her home. She called 9-1-1. Deputies arrived and spoke to the neighbor. She did not hear anyone try to enter her home; she was watching television with her headphones on. She did not report anything stolen at the time.

The incident occurred at 8:20 p.m.

June 9

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, an employee reviewing a store’s camera surveillance observed a female adult and a male adult enter the front door of the store, get a shopping cart and enter the handbag department. Once there, both suspects grabbed numerous handbags and exited the store without attempting to pay for the items.

The female was described as 5’ 7” tall, about 180 lbs. and wearing a beige romper with white sandals. The male was described as 5’ 7” tall, weighing about 160 lbs. and wearing a white cap, gray polo shirt, khaki pants and green and yellow running shoes.

The theft occurred at 8:12 p.m.

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, an employee reported witnessing a male adult enter the front of the store and walk to the handbag department. The suspect used an unknown device to cut and remove the security cables from handbags. He then walked out of the store with the handbags without attempting to pay.

The theft occurred at 8:56 p.m.

Using an unknown device the suspect cut the security cables to several handbags and walked out of the store without attempted to pay.

The suspect was described as 5’7” tall, weighing about 260 lbs. and wearing a black polo shirt, blue jean shorts and black shoes with white laces. The theft occurred at 9:12 p.m.
