June 24
2400 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, Glendale police responded to a call to the location. A witness reported driving along Honolulu Avenue when he noticed the front window of the Cigar Empire had been broken. GPD contacted an employee who responded to the business. It was discovered 10 to 15 hookahs and four ashtrays were stolen from the window display. Debris of broken hookah hoses and glass were found on the ground for about 100 feet to Honolulu and Orangedale avenues. The call came in at 12:44 a.m.
June 22
500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a 21-year-old La Cañada man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon (a vehicle) and spousal assault. While on patrol a deputy saw a vehicle had collided with a tree on Foothill Boulevard. There were two women yelling for help and a man later identified as the suspect lying on his back in the street. The deputy exited his vehicle to see if anyone needed medical assistance and reportedly was immediately approached by one of the women who asked him to keep the man away from her. The man stood up and began walking toward the woman, who began yelling at him to get away.  The deputy approached the man and smelled alcohol on him. The man was uncooperative. Apparently the woman was driving the suspect home. He was allegedly intoxicated and became violent while in the passenger seat of her vehicle. He insisted he wanted someone else to drive him home. He allegedly wrapped his right arm around the woman’s neck and began hitting her. She stopped the vehicle, he got out and then as she was attempting to drive away he opened the front passenger door and was forcefully trying to pull the driver out of the vehicle. The suspect was able to get his upper body into the vehicle through the front passenger door window. He allegedly grabbed the steering wheel, jerking it, which caused the driver to collide with the tree. The incident occurred at 2:15 a.m.
June 19
5400 block of Pineridge Drive in La Crescenta, someone entered a possible unlocked vehicle and stole several items overnight.

2700 block of Brierhaven Drive in La Crescenta, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole glasses and a cd case between 4:15 a.m. and 5:15 a.m.

2700 of Brierhaven Drive in La Crescenta, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole sunglasses and a garage door opener overnight.
June 18
800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, while on patrol a deputy found a glass door at Remedy Liquor shattered. The deputy entered to find several cabinets open. After an investigation several bottles of liquor were found to be missing. The theft occurred overnight.

2300 block of Henrietta Avenue in La Crescenta, a 34-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested for vandalism. Deputies responded to a call to the location. A witness reported the suspect was arguing with his father, who is also his employer, about office issues. At some point the suspect entered the home office of the employer and began smashing phones and a computer keyboard.  He also allegedly punched the victim. The suspect was arrested at the home at 5 p.m.
