Rep. Schiff, Community Leaders To Replace Stolen Flags at St. Luke’s

On Sunday, Congressman Adam Schiff and other community leaders will join with members of the St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church to help replace the flags that were stolen on May 19 from the church. The stolen flags invited worshipers from the Korean-American and Mexican-American communities, the LGBT (Rainbow) and environmental communities, as well as the Armenian community (stolen a few weeks earlier).
All the flags are a symbol of the church’s “open minds, open hearts” philosophy, letting everyone know that all are welcome to worship. Schiff and other community members will present the American, Armenian, Mexican, Korean, and LGBT Pride flags after Sunday service at St. Luke’s.
The Congressman will be at St. Luke’s of the Mountains at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
St. Luke’s is located at 2563 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta.
