Rotary Club Celebrates Success of 7th Annual Car Show

The Rotary Club of Glendale Noon announced the success of the 7th Annual Cars for Cops & Kids Car Show held at Verdugo Park. This year’s event showcased over 200 vehicles, attracting hundreds of car enthusiasts and community members.

The event featured a wide variety of cars, from classics to modern marvels, and culminated in the awarding of 48 trophies to the best entries. Thanks to the generosity of the event sponsors and the community’s overwhelming support, the car show raised over $60,000, contributing to a total of more than $350,000 since its inception in 2017.

All proceeds from the Cars for Cops & Kids Car Show are dedicated to supporting local youth programs with a special focus on initiatives for at-risk youth organized by the Glendale Police Foundation. This year’s show was a success, reflecting the community’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young people in the area.

Lt. Joshua Wofford, a Rotarian and one of the event’s co-chairs, said, “This event is a testament to the power of community. Together, we are driving change and creating opportunities for our youth.”

Sgt. Teal Metts, also a Rotarian and co-chair, added, “Seeing the support from our community and the smiles on the faces of the kids we help is incredibly rewarding. We are making a real difference.”

The Rotary Club of Glendale Noon appreciates the participants, sponsors, volunteers and attendees and is grateful for their support and enthusiastic participation. These contributions are instrumental in supporting the Rotary Club mission and enriching the lives of local youth.
