There will be a restoration day at the Rosemont Preserve on Saturday, July 13th from 9 a.m. to 11am. Come and learn to identify invasive plant species and remove them to allow room to reestablish the native flora. We will also be doing some light brush clearance.
If you plan on attending please wear sturdy shoes, comfortable work clothes and garden gloves (long pants and sleeves are recommended.) If you have any of the following tools, please consider bringing them: shovels, spades, loppers, hatchets, clippers. Other tools and equipment will be provided.
The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park (click here for a map).
