5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada, a 22-year-old Glendale man on parole was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana while he was parked in the parking lot of the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club at 12:11 a.m.


June 27
3100 block of Stevens Street in La Crescenta, a man reported that during a supplemental security hearing at the Social Security office for the disabled, he was told by the judge that his background check related that he had worked in Atlanta, Arizona, Los Angeles and North Hollywood. He is disabled and has been unable to work. It was discovered that someone had apparently been using his social security number without his permission or knowledge. He discovered this on June 25 at 9 a.m.


June 26
900 Town Center Drive in La Cañada, a woman reported after returning to work from lunch at Panera Bread she noticed her wallet had been stolen from her purse between 11:18 a.m. and 12:23 p.m.


June 21
2160 Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman reported that as she was walking her dog in the southern parking of Joann Fabrics, she saw a man, described as Asian, walk out of the bushes. He allegedly grabbed her by the neck and said, “Give me your dog.” She pushed him away and struck him.

He reportedly attempted to pull her dog’s leash out of her hand and grab her purse. She kicked him and he fled the area.

The women got into her vehicle and drove to the Crescenta-Cañada YMCA to call 911 at 9:30 a.m.
